Talbot & Associates formed in 1995 as an independent consultancy supporting small and medium sized organisations. Since then, we have grown our service offerings and developed an extensive network of specialist consultants, trainers and coaches who share our ethos for delivery excellence, and taking that extra step for our clients. Our success is built upon a multi-disciplinary skill-set that combines business knowledge with people development expertise - a skill set grounded in both front-line experience and business theory. Tom Talbot (Lead Consultant
Tom Talbot MBA, MA (HRM) Chartered FCIPD, FCMI

Tom is a highly experienced consultant, coach, facilitator and trainer, with international HR training experience in the US, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He is passionate about learning and development and an independent consultant for over 20 years. He brings a multi disciplinary skill set in business and people, combined with operational management experience and a pragmatic style that builds effective relationships with all levels of a client company and engages staff to take ownership of their change agenda.

Tom has successfully delivered performance improvement projects at strategic and functional levels, since 1995. His specialist experience includes strategic analysis and planning, reviewing operational and structural efficiency, organisational development, leadership and management development. Recent projects include the introduction of HR functions, employee engagement, change management, pay-grading and performance management systems. Tom has also worked in interim HR Director roles and is currently a retained HR consultant for a world leading manufacturing organisation.

Within the UK, Tom has worked within the public and private sectors on projects over a range of size and complexity, from national staff engagement events and major roll out programmes, to in-house team meetings and personalised executive training.  His experience includes chair roles and non-executive directorships for retail centre tenants association, national and regional voluntary positions for the Chartered Management Institute, Institute of Consulting and regional charities.

An ILM approved trainer for leadership and management programmes, Tom is a qualified coach and coach supervisor. Tom holds masters level degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and in Human Resources (MA HRM). He is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD and a Fellow and a subject matter expert in HR for the Chartered Management Institute.

Dr Angelique Talbot (Associate)
Dr. Angelique Talbot MSci (Hons), PhD

Angelique is a change management and people development specialist with 10 years business consultancy experience. She has delivered strategic business transformation projects across a range of UK public sector clients, ranging from improving the performance of individual teams to sector-wide capability development programmes. She is passionate about the delivery of sustainable change, engaging with every level of an organisation to make sure change can be long term.

Her specialist areas are focussed around business strategy including capability development, culture change, portfolio management and L&D. As well as working within strategic HR functions, Angelique has worked extensively with clients who require change solutions around intelligently exploiting their information systems. She has led change programmes in areas such as digital technology visioning, digital modernisation and IT professionalisation. Her background in scientific research brings a technical acumen which allows her to translate complex issues in plain english terms across an organisation. Recent projects have included working with industry on behalf of the UK Government on development of sustainable innovation capability and customer focussed business culture.

Angelique has also worked across the learning and development arena. Her experience includes leading programmes to build staff training academies and major L&D programmes, as well as design and delivery of bespoke training courses. Angelique is an experienced trainer and facilitator and has also spent many years working with graduates and new joiners on core skills training.
